Tarang Ananda Kanchipuram Saree with Wavy Butta

This Ananda blue Kanchipuram silk saree is covered in wavy rows of small copper-toned buttas from end to end. The motifs, slim pillar shapes alternating with tiny leaf-like diamonds, travel across the body in gentle waves, leaving the deep blue ground calm and clear. A broad pallu in rich copper-red tones, with tiered bands of fine geometric patterning and a scalloped edge, gives the contrast, while the border and blouse stay plain so the pallu stands out. The soft silk falls easily and pleats neatly.
