Sitara Emerald Kanchipuram Saree with Red Border

This emerald green Kanchipuram silk saree sets small diamond buttis against a deep red border, pallu and blouse. The body carries rows of small gold-toned and magenta diamond motifs in vertical lines, a modern touch on a calm green ground. The traditional Kanchipuram border is woven in layered gold-toned bands of florals and scrolls, edged in dark maroon, and the pallu continues the rich red with twisted tassels. The soft silk falls smoothly and drapes with an easy fluidity. Pair it with antique gold temple jewellery and a simple bun with jasmine.
