Rangoli Rani Saree with Grouped Buttas

A rani pink Kanchipuram soft silk saree with small zari buttas in tidy groups and a wide tussar-toned border. The border is the highlight, with two bands of floral scrollwork on either side of fine horizontal lines in pale gold. Across the body, the buttas sit in neat vertical rows like a rangoli of dots, with a few diamond-shaped motifs placed among them. The rich pallu completes the look with the same gold-toned richness against the deep pink. The soft silk has a gentle drape and falls in easy folds. Pair it with antique gold or pearl jewellery. It is a good pick for an engagement, a wedding reception, a festive dinner or a gift.
