Pankhi Magenta Kanchipuram Saree

A magenta Kanchipuram soft silk saree with a wide green border of silver-toned peacocks, set in neat panels along one side. Between the panels, bands of tiny flowers and scrolls frame each peacock, and the same fine weaving carries into the rich pallu, which ends in twisted green tassels. Small buttas sit in loose groups across the magenta body, balancing the heavy border. The soft silk feels smooth and falls in an easy, fluid drape. Antique gold jewellery and a plain blouse in green or gold would suit it well. Wear it to a wedding, a festive gathering or a pooja, or give it to someone who loves traditional peacock designs.
