Kusum Orange Silk Saree with Green Border

An orange Kanchipuram soft silk saree with a wide bottle green border and a silver-toned floral butta at the centre. Fine vertical lines in silver tone run down the orange body, while the deep green border is woven in bands of scrolling flowers, narrow stripes and round medallion motifs, and the pallu carries the same rich detailing. The soft silk has a gentle, fluid drape that settles well in pleats. Pair it with antique gold jewellery and jasmine flowers in the hair for a traditional look, or with pearls for something softer. It would suit a wedding function, an Ugadi or Pongal celebration, a pooja at home or a gift.
