Champa Saree with Paisley Border

This Japan silk fancy saree is bordered with large paisleys and full-blown flowers on a satin border. A narrow band of zigzag patterning with a row of pointed motifs frames the body, where small buttas sit in even rows. Larger bouquet-shaped buttas fill the rich pallu, which is finished with five full tassels. The fabric feels smooth, with a soft drape that pleats neatly. Style it with antique gold jewellery, pearl strands or jhumkas and a simple blouse so the border stays the focus. Woven on our looms in Bengaluru, it is a lovely choice for an engagement, a festive lunch, Diwali pooja or a gift for someone dear.
