Bakul Red Fancy Saree Balli Border

This red fancy saree in Tokyo silk is woven with a floral balli border and scattered golden buttas across the body. The creeping floral vine runs along the edge above a narrow zigzag band, while small flowering sprigs sit well apart on the plain red ground. The pallu is rich and ends in knotted tassels in matching red. Tokyo silk has a smooth, light feel and falls in soft folds, so it is easy to pleat and drape. Pair it with gold or pearl jewellery and a simple bun for a polished look. Made on our looms in Bengaluru, it suits weddings, festive evenings, receptions and gifting.
